As a partner and co-founder of Longleaf Group, Chris is focused on all aspects of firm operations, including sourcing, underwriting, portfolio management, and investor relations. Prior to starting Longleaf Group, Chris was an investor at KLH Capital and an investment banker with Cappello Group and TFA Capital Partners.
Chris was born and raised in Tampa, FL, where he attended Jesuit High School and went on to play varsity baseball at the University of Notre Dame, graduating with a BBA in Finance. After college, he headed west to Los Angeles to kick off his investment banking career, and along the way earned his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business.
Chris lives in his hometown of Tampa, FL with his wife and two sons. In his free time, Chris can be found out on the water boating, cheering on his teams, and traveling with his family and friends. He is also an active supporter of the HopeWill Foundation, Meals on Wheels, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Jimbo was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, and graduated from the University of North Carolina with a BA in History and Economics. After college, he earned his MS in Commerce degree from the University of Virginia with a specialization in finance.
Jimbo recently moved to Charlotte, NC with his wife and two children. Outside of spending time with his family, Jimbo enjoys being in the mountains, playing golf, and getting out to hunt in south Georgia. He and his family are active supporters of Show Hope and Compassion International and are excited to get involved in their new community in Charlotte.
